Throughout my career in healthcare and higher education, I have devoted time and training to educating others, from patients to students to other healthcare providers. By focusing on patient centered care, we can reduce barriers and streamline workflow for the benefit of all involved in the patient provider relationship. Having led a team of genetic counselors in a high risk Fetal Diagnostic Center, I developed and implemented alternative service delivery models to improve access to genetic services and provider satisfaction. I successfully implemented significant changes across a large academic hospital, illustrating ability for team work and project management.
