I am a Project Manager and Biology Specialist.I manage projects including Tentative Parcel Maps, Tentative Maps, General Plan Amendments, Specific Plans, Density Bonus Projects, Site Plans, and Major Use Permits, including projects with Environmental Impact Reports.As a project manager I review projects according to CEQA via Initial Studies, Negative Declarations, 15162 findings, 15183 findings, and EIRs. I review projects for compliance with County ordinances, General Plan, Community Plan, Specific Plan if applicable, and sound planning principles. I coordinate specialist reviews; manage the project budget and timeline; communicate with applicants, neighbors, and community members; respond to requests from the County administrators and elected officials; and present the project in internal and external meetings and Planning Commission hearings.As a Biology Specialist, I determine the need for studies; review and comment on biology reports and wetland delineations; conduct site visits; write Multiple Species Conservation Program findings, project conditions, minor amendment concurrence letters, and Habitat Loss Permits; attend meetings with the wildlife agencies and meetings with applicants. I also review wetland revegetation plans and resource management plans.I was promoted from a Planner I to a Planner II in February 2009.

Wrote Tribal Environmental Plan, conducted mesquite bosque monitoring, regulated mesquite woodcutting, promoted recycling, wrote grant applications and progress reports, conducted groundwater monitoring, collected and displayed data using GIS and GPS
