I lead operational audits for Internal Audit, a division of KeyBank's third line of defense Risk Review Group. The Operations Audit team performs reviews of business units within the bank for compliance with policies and control procedures. As a Senior Lead Auditor, I coordinate and lead a team of staff to identify risks and controls, develop a testing plan, and complete the review within an assigned budget and timeline. I am accountable for monitoring any identified review findings for remediation and performing verification/sustainability testing upon line of business completion. Separate from the review process, I have independent responsibility to conduct on-going risk assessments for assigned lines of business to identify shifts in risk as conditions change. Our team also has responsibility to assist in root cause analysis and remediation testing for identified fraud or control breakdowns.
