- Assists with all aspects of production planning and advancing ofconcerts at the Rady Shell and Jacob's Music Center, as well as run out and community concerts.- Creates and distributes production summaries, run of show plans, and stage plots for allassigned productions.- Acts as liaison between guest artists, technical personnel, venue, and Symphony musicians.- Collaborates with visiting performing groups to ensure that production needs are met.- Directly supervises stagehands for all orchestra concerts, and serves as leader at assigned productions for load-in/set-up, rehearsals, and load-out.- Anticipates potential staging concerns, such as intricate stage changes, staff/crew training, temperature, lighting, or safety, and effectively problem-solves before the beginning of any given service.- Develops and maintains working relationships with all departments within SDSO, as well as guest conductors, guest artists, and outside vendors.- Supervises inventory and maintenance of instruments and equipment.

As the Manager of Creative Show Operations, I managed the overall production process of various events and shows. This included:- Overseeing and managing roughly 10-15 events throughout the year for up to 25,000 park guests. - Reviewing and/or developing all show production elements, including décor, costumes, scripts, music selections, event schedules, and more. - Coordinating and assisting in production installation, maintenance, and strike. - Creating and communicating project strategy, timelines, goals, and deadlines to required personnel. - Creating project scopes and timelines, facilitating bids, and providing job status updates and cost elements to internal and external partners.- Managing event budgets and costs. - Collaborating with park departments, including Operations, Merchandise, Culinary, and Security. - Developing team members by providing training, feedback, and coaching. - Writing/re-writing script elements for both events and animal presentations. - Overseeing event and show auditions and casting process.
