Secured $3M in federal and state funds, identified contractor, and led start-up, implementation, and partnership development. •Strategized with Kentucky’s federally funded grant leadership to align employment approaches with other interventions and to research impact of employment-related services on individuals impacted by substance use. •Led $1M consultant and internal team in human-centered design qualitative research and prototyping to expand and improve employment and training services for human service recipients and employers.•Planned modified randomized controlled study in partnership with Yale University to test impact of community-based stress management intervention on recidivism, health and economic stability of justice-involved moms.

Led a statewide staff of 90 and a budget of $12M. Responsible for state and federal job training and matching programs and assistance, delivered through a statewide network of 12 Career Resource Centers.•Created strategic plan for the unit in first 90 days on job and implemented key recommendations in areas of service, stewardship, innovation and partnership.••Prioritized among and implemented critical improvements to financial oversight, grants administration, and other key processes to improve cycle time and reduce errors.•Developed and executed strategic partnerships with Vermont State Colleges to deliver workforce assessment and training programs.•Initiated and executed a registered Apprenticeship program for the composites industry.•Updated marketing materials for both employer and job-seeker audiences without a budget.•Secured nearly $3M in Federal Disaster Recovery grants to support employment of unemployed individuals in flood recovery projects and $300K in additional workforce development grants in partnership with higher education and community nonprofits.
