Developed, implemented, and manages the execution of a comprehensive HR strategy for the SeaTac-based concrete contractor. Leads all aspects of human resources including sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, new hire onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations. Identifies and analyzes areas for opportunity and creates and implements appropriate policies, processes, and programs. Effectively handles employee situations and continually fosters an inclusive, high-performing company culture.

Held position on the Senior Management team overseeing all human resource functions, payroll, benefits, and employee training during a 4-state, company-wide merger. Directly responsible for 14 employees as well as budget oversight for departments including customer relations, reception, HR, payroll, and benefits. Consistently maintained management guidelines through establishing, updating, and implementing policies and procedures. Successfully created and implemented a new employee handbook as well as developed and executed new hire and existing employee training materials.

Member of the Regional Executive team overseeing human resource functions including payroll, benefits, and employee training for 25 branch locations comprised of over 30 managers throughout Washington, Alaska, Oregon, and Idaho. Responsible for all employee relations, talent acquisitions, new hires, terminations, and compensation changes. Created region-wide job descriptions, oversaw job postings, and acted as the primary contact for all inquiries. Maintained current knowledge of industry and trends and successfully completed an EEOC audit ensuring the company’s adherence to all federal, state, and local laws.

Oversaw the comprehensive personnel program including benefits administration, employee orientation, fingerprinting, and payroll using ADP software. Developed, coordinated, and managed the maintenance of record keeping procedures and implemented a human resources information system (HRIS) software resulting in streamlined HR, accounting, management, and payroll processes.
