As a member of DFC's foreign policy leadership team, advise the Corporation’s senior leadership on foreign policy matters in the strategically important regions of Africa and the Middle East, where DFC has more than $10 billion in exposure across debt, equity, political risk insurance and technical assistance products. Provide guidance to DFC transaction teams and engage with interagency colleagues and external stakeholders at the nexus of development finance and foreign policy to ensure DFC’s unique set of financial tools are deployed to advance US foreign policy priorities, while also achieving development impact.Represent DFC at conferences, strategic foreign policy summits, and other domestic and international fora to provide insights into DFC’s financial products and communicate how DFC’s work to mobilize private capital in developing countries delivers for the American people and our allies and partners around the world.

Led strategic efforts within the Office of the CEO to mobilize public and private capital in and around MCC’s programs in low and lower-middle-income countries; collaborated with colleagues across the agency to launch the American Catalyst Facility for Development and the Millennium Impact Infrastructure Accelerator (MIIA), two new MCC tools to catalyze additional funding from development finance institutions, funds, and philanthropies. Advised on the MCC@20 strategy, consisting of a review of MCC’s first 18 years, an analysis of opportunities to address the changing landscape of poverty, and a set of recommendations to modernize the agency in its next decade. Liaised with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of agency and Administration priorities including the Biden-Harris Administration and G7’s Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) initiative and MCC’s Inclusion and Gender Strategy.
