As People & Culture Manager for KEEN Footwear I support managers and employees with their People & Culture (HR) needs. I engage with employees to find resolutions for any issues they may be having and partner with managers to manage employee relations situations. This may include identifying training opportunities for an employee's growth, or establishing performance improvement plans to bring an employee along in the performance process. Additionally I manage all aspects of compliance, including consulting on wage and hour laws, leave laws, NLRB rulings and general HR best practice. I also write policies, handbooks and coordinate employee and manager training as part of the company's overall performance management process.My specific areas of partnership include KEEN's Portland and Palo Alto retail stores, as well as our Portland, Oregon manufacturing facility.

I also write policies, handbooks and coordinate employee and manager training as part of the company's overall performance management process.I partner with all aspects of the Chrome brand, including the HQ team in San Francisco, the retail teams in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis and New York, and the excellent manufacturing team at Chrome's bag factory in Chico, California.

As HR Manager with Mercy Corps, I was responsible for providing high-level, high-quality human resources support and advisory to the agency's global teams. This included benefits administration for both domestic and international benefits packages, compensation administration, performance management and coaching, employee relations and dispute resolution, life-cycle HR (hiring, changes, terms), coordinating consultant agreements and supporting national HR practitioners in field offices.
