Familiar with Skyward Software, Medicaid Billing, and a variety of diagnostic assessments.

Planned and implemented speech-language therapy services for children through adults in the following areas: articulation, AAC, cognition, fluency, receptive and expressive language, social language, swallowing, and voice. Frequently communicated with clients, families, and caregivers to discuss services and progress. Developed and implemented a variety of diagnostic assessments, including but not limited to, the Test Of Language Development, Test of Narrative Language, and the Goldman Fristoe Test of Articulation. Assisted a clinical professor in grading and attendance for an undergraduate level course and helped with research within the department.

Assessed cognitive-communication and swallowing impairments to determine most efficient and effective intervention tasks and techniques. Implemented restorative and compensatory therapy strategies for patients with swallowing, cognitive-communication, language, and voice needs. Consulted and collaborated with supervisor, staff, clients, families, and caregivers to facilitate consistency in goals and therapy progress. Regularly used various diagnostic assessments, including the Saint Louis University Mental Status and the Cognistat Cognitive Assessment.

Adapted activities to aid a child with autism in the classroom setting. Assisted children with learning disabilities and language delays in the summer program.

Facilitated and taught middle school students part of the Achieve Via Individual Determination (AVID) program. Led tutorial groups and focused on helping them develop collaboration and problem-solving skills.
