Researches, analyzes, and interprets complex information impacting and related to the financial operations of MGIC. Serves as a key resource and participates in discussions on accounting issues. Researches statutory or GAAP disclosures, government, and business environment events impacting MGIC's financial statements and earnings. Analyzes technical accounting issues and produces conclusions and recommendations to senior management.In conjunction with the Financial management team, provides insight into possible future impacts, events, or trends and the information behind the reported data. Responsible for reconciliation and preparation of consolidated/combined financial statements, supporting schedules and detailed narratives based on analyses according to prescribed laws and regulations. Prepares detailed “Notes” to annual statements.Assists with preparation and review of schedules and statistical analyses for MGIC executive management team and the Board of Directors.
