Hi, my name is Bethany. I am recent graduate, having studied my MArch at the Manchester School of Architecture. I am a highly motivated individual, who constantly strives to become a better version of myself. As an aspiring architect, I am really seeking to use the profession to make a real impact on the community through design.I am also 1/7 co-founders of the 1:100 Architecture Podcast which is a platform where we, as women of colour and seekers of change, talk about our journey in the design industry. Our aim is to provide the best relatable content, design tips, and architectural conversation for those of diverse backgrounds to be confident in their abilities.I have a range of drawing and technical skills, such as Rhino, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop. I have been learning to use a computational approach to design within my Masters degree, developing skills using grasshopper and python. Alongside these, I have great organisational, communication and leadership skills which I have developed through various roles such as Radical Youth society secretary & moves leader, Inspired Generation secretary, NCS Team Mentor, and Student Ambassador.
