As the safeguarding lead, I address and resolve safeguarding issues, ensuring a safe educational environment. My responsibilities also extend to improving operational efficiency through meticulous data management and active participation in the misconduct team to uphold academic integrity.Additionally, I currently act as Safeguarding Lead, Fire Warden, and have completed the Government’s PREVENT training, equipping me with the necessary skills to manage various safety protocols to identify and counter ideological extremism among others and enhance the security measures within the university.

I joined the easyJet Integrated Control Centre as a part of the crewing team as a Crewing Assistant. It’s my primary responsibility to ensure that the flight and cabin crew rosters are legal, safe and appropriate for both the staff and business.It’s also my role to liaise between crew which have been unexpectedly stranded due to flight disruption with hotels and travel companies. Ensuring that they make it to Hotel safe and secure and back to the airport the following day.I have to be practical and logical but also empathetic at the same time. Great phone manner is absolutely essential both when speaking to Hotel staff and crew - especially after they have had a very long day!

Joined easyJet to become a cabin crew member after looking for a new challenge and career change.I really enjoyed the responsibility of the role, the balancing act of keeping the passengers safe and secure while making sure they have an enjoyable flight.The job was hard work and sometimes tough, but I found it to be hugely rewarding.Every day, the general responsibilities for the role were to provide outstanding customer service to all passengers and ensure passenger, crew and cabin safety. Assist during boarding and disembarking. Demonstrating safety equipment and procedures to passengers. It was also one of my responsibilities to serve drinks, meals and snacks along with the sale of boutique items and, finally, attend to passenger needs throughout the duration of the flight.

I worked at Lakeview Primary School for just under two years. Over the time at the school, I worked with both years 1 and 4. I assisted the teacher with lesson plans, the evaluation and marking of students work and finally, providing individual support those students who were having a tougher time than others in the classroom. I was specialised in music, religious and physical education to which I routinely lead the lessons several times per week. I had to plan the content of the lessons making sure they aligned with the national curriculum and most importantly, beneficial to the children in my care.

While at Alameda my role was focused on assisting students with complex learning difficulties, ranging from Autism to ADHD. It was my responsibility to make sure that each child I worked with could approach the curriculum in the most accessible way possible and could reach their full potential. Flexibility was key; as it was often clear what worked for one student might not necessarily work on another. It was also my responsibility to provide extra support to teachers in the classroom as required and also take on smaller groups that need more individual and specialised support. I would also occasionally have one-on-one lessons with children that struggled within a classroom setting. It was incredibly important to create bonds with the students so they had someone they could turn to should the stress of school overcome them. Primarily and most importantly, I had to ensure that they did not miss out on their education and weren’t left behind.
