I provided emotional, physical, and cognitive support to individuals who have physical and mental disabilities. I specialized in employment training for those who are seeking a job in the community outside of NuPath. I ran the full operations of one of Nupath's micro businesses, the Nupath Cafe. This included the Cafe's budget, inventory, shopping, coordination, catering for internal meetings, as well as payroll and progress notes for my employees and those on my client caseload. The Cafe is open from 9:30-1:30pm Monday-Friday and serves coffee, beverages, snacks, breakfast, and lunch items. I work alongside 4-6 of our individuals at a time as we service approximately 100 customers per day that attend our Vocational Program. My employees are given titled positions where their expectations are clearly noted. They have a weekly lesson plan that provides hope, growth, and encouragement to excel in their current and future work environments.

Inn Between is transitional housing for families who seek to improve their current situation of being evicted, living in an unsafe situation, and needing a place to go for a period of time. Clients are encouraged to improve English language skills if necessary, receive counseling, and are able to live in a community that is supportive for this period of their life. Case managers provide direction and coaching to help clients stay motivated. I manage all house matters during my shift including monitoring that clients are doing their daily chores, communicating their Saturday activities in and outside of the home, and provide encouragement.
