I am a senior graduating May 2025 at the University of Missouri Columbia majoring in Broadcast Journalism. At Mizzou, I am a Walter Williams Scholar, Dean's List honoree, Cherng Scholar, and distinguished Honors College student. I recently finished my summer internship with WISN 12 News, the top station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.As a reporter and anchor for KOMU 8 News, the NBC and CW Affiliate for Mid-Missouri, I strive to share stories with accountability and connection in mind. Joining this newsroom my freshman year has allowed me to learn the inner workings of a professional news environment from day one.Storytelling led me to join the Missouri School of Journalism as a Journalism Ambassador. This group of students represent undergraduate journalism students as we promote the J-School through engagement with potential students on tours, online, and by traveling throughout the country. I love getting to represent the school that has shaped me as a journalist over the past two years and continues to today.I love to get involved on campus, including through service at Mizzou's Camp Kesem and on the outreach committee for the largest student run philanthropy on our campus, Rockin' Against Multiple Sclerosis.
