Various job roles, all fascinating experiences:- I worked as a ‘camp all-rounder’ at Far Away Bay. From tour guide assistant, boat hand, to kitchen hand, this was one of the best experiences of my life. A true outback Aussie experience!- My next role was running the delicious cafe of the wonderful Zebra Rock Gallery. Based on a mango farm plantation, my employers also housed me in a converted shipment container that looked onto the majestic Elephant Rock and glorious Ord River. I also worked on the Kimberley Coffee Bug - a coffee making trailer designed in the style of a lady bug - simply charming.- My third and final role was working for Rio Tinto in one of their Iron Ore mines. As a camp site worker, I worked 12 hr days, two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off. Not a job I’d do today but one that undoubtedly added to my experience.
