KM Event Planning, LLC was a full service event planning organization that specialized in Business Networking Events that helped partner up hiring companies with professional job seekers in a professional environment.

My position was outsourced due to the downturn in the job market. I am always looking for additional opportunities for growth and expansion! During the last 4 years of my employment at Sara Lee Corporation, I procured all desktop software for the North America locations as well as maintaining software licensing, maintenance and agreements. I worked closely with my vendors to make sure that we got the best prices and best offers and stay current in the field. I was also in charge of the procurement for hardware for the company. I was in charge of making sure that all of the invoices for the hardware and software were reconciled and made sure invoices got paid in a timely manner to our vendors. I handled software maintenance & contracts as well as all of the wireless telecommunications billing for North America. I identified opportunities to streamline procedures and ways to save money after the Headquarters for the Foods division at Sara Lee was moved to Downer's Grove, IL. During this transition time I identified that the company was losing assets such as cell phones, computers, printers, hand held devices etc. I suggested procedures to implement in order to recoup IT assets during the termination process. I was the key player in saving the company well over a projected $7M+ in aprox 8-12 months for consolidating & streamlining the National wireless accounts.

I was the Executive Assistant to the CIO, 3 Vice Presidents and the local IT Department which consisted of over 70 people. Some of my responsibilities included working on departmental projects, high level executive support responsibilities as well as negotiating & coding and approving all departmental invoices to make sure they were aligned within the budget as well as pulling together meetings and projects. Large corporate event planning and activities was also a huge part of my job. I executed a successful golf outing for 150+ people which raised over $48k for our local United Way campaign as well as many other events throughout the year. These events helped our company to rank in the TOP 5 major corporations in our local campaign that year!

I was an Independent Consultant and Leader for Longaberger Home Products for over 8.5 years. I have an impressive record in sales and marketing my business. I was VIP in Sales and/or Sales Acheiver 6 out of the 8 years that I sold the products. I consistenly worked my business and provided excellent customer service to customers, potential customers and my team members! I organized several large events, fundraising events, overnight trips and large meetings. I have extensive Event Planning & organizational skills and treated each event as if it was the same size even if it was for hundreds of people or a group of ten people.
