This work effort involved stabilizing operations while simultaneously re-designing systems and data flows. The company was in desperate need of upgraded technology in order to deliver information required for decision-making, operational efficiency/cost control, and ability to support integration of acquired entities. Scope of IT system architecture included data warehouse; ERP and BI reporting layer. Managed board relationships and all M&A activity.

• Led team of other consultants and LBI employees to build design for ERP system integration of 5 legacy systems to prepare for emergence from bankruptcy April 2010• Negotiation and change management with multiple international teams to adopt new practices, processes and controls• Supported process and communication improvements globally (primarily Asia and Europe) and transformation for finance group pre and post emergence from bankruptcy

•Managing Director Wholesale Commercial, Enron North America (Debtor) and Enron Europe (Liquidation)•Closed nearly $400 million in auctions and other transactions with Investment Banks•Supported/enabled recoveries of over $6 Billion since petition date•Resolved nearly 4500 Wholesale Domestic and European Trading contract claims without protracted litigation•Coordinated operational accounting control process for tracking, valuing and billing thousands of trades each day •Managed European implementation of SAP financial accounting system•Developed and implemented several automation and efficiency based financial control systems •Responsible for Financial reporting (consolidation and local reporting) for 300 legal entities (primarily international)•Managed, motivated and developed financial teams to focus on accuracy, controls and efficiency

• Managed the monthly close for approximately 300 legal entities, across 20 different country jurisdictions, and in many different functional currencies (Pre-Euro)• Led all financial reporting from ad hoc, to formal monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting to corporate headquarters on a consolidated basis• Responsible for the external reporting as required for foreign legal entities and all financial planning and budgeting for the European division, accounts payable and expense report processing• Major Special Efforts:o Member of Global steering committee and Lead for SAP Implementation in Europe (first to go live across Enron)o Negotiated and completed long-term outsourcing deals for accounts payable and the foreign (non-UK) compliance work, including financial reporting, tax and legal work
