I was brought in to lead Planview’s Cloud strategy and operations team supporting 5000+ customers hosted in the cloud in 20+ data centers globally across U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Lead a portfolio of SaaS products – Enterprise One, PPM Pro, Projectplace, LeanKit and Spigit – hosted globally, delivering significant revenue. Oversee an operational budget for all hosting and data center costs including internal software/equipment and personnel costs, while leading the corporate IT team supporting 750+ employees globally.In this role I led two acquisitions and integrations in one year to scale and set the state for onboarding future acquisitions. Also optimized operations and transformed cloud operations processes, focusing on automation and retooling – driving cost savings and performance while reducing headcount. I am leading the development of the Planview’s Information Security program, building the Security team and the Privacy program.

I was tapped to lead the development and technical operations for the web content management platform serving 60,000+ customers with 500,000 web sites in 20+ data centers globally across U.S., Europe, and Asia. Held annual P&L and budget covering hosting, operational expenses, and product engineering expenses while leading teams of 100+ engineers across Product Engineering and Technical Operations. In this role I led the transition to market leading cloud-hosting providers, providing greater platform stability and delivered the next generation architecture – providing more scalability, optimal redundancy and resiliency to provide a solution with high availability.I established the security team as well as the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) organization to lead corporate security. Additionally, I expanded a global team and led 56% organization growth in one year and established a college internship program to serve the business.

I was recruited as a Sr. Director of Engineering and promoted to VP in 8 months to lead the development of next generation SaaS applications delivered from 3 global data centers and build an Operations team, who own responsibility of provisioning, monitoring and securing all product services running in data center. I managed P&L and an annual budget for Product Development, Hosting and Operations, OEM and IT expenses. In this role I led a highly effective organization of 60 globally distributed software engineers and IT team supporting 130 global employees and served as an Executive Team member.I led the security programs including establishing security controls and policies and drove the annual SSAE 16 audit, assuring Zilliant followed best practices for controls, providing clients reliable and secure service. I continuously presented to the board, outlining strategy on product technology and architecture for SaaS, while answering board questions.In this role I led a technical transformation of product architecture and delivery of optimization platform with full multi-tenant architecture – including evaluation of Cloud landscape and technology platforms; determining best architecture for transition to SaaS, and ways to leverage Infrastructure and platforms to make the cost of development optimal. Through innovation, I drove Zilliant solutions’ transformation from being highly customized, unique solutions to a true enterprise software application – with ability to be configurable to meet business processes.
