• A wonderful sabbatical where I became a volunteer, managed volunteers and understood much more about how to implement and maintain a volunteer strategy which works for both the people and the organisation. • Projects included: plan/project managing a new Community allotment; being a School Governor of an inner City School (Birmingham) who were looking for support on Financials, Resources and “Value for Money”; I became a “telephone befriender” using my friendly/outgoing personality to support others; managing volunteers involved in the burial of King Richard 3rd, as well as setting up the parkrun and the associated social media in Market Harborough - this event needs over 30 volunteers on a weekly basis, and has allowed me to master the ability to “think on my feet” and listen/process feedback to improve the overall experience.

• Responsible for setting up a brand new role to lead a team of 6 people to support the delivery of the “Support for Carers” service to a consistently high standard and meeting all set targets/KPIs• Oversaw and managed a very successful volunteer programme (20 volunteers) to allow them to feel empowered to support at events, telephone befriending and general admin duties, as well as sharing their stories/experience in publications and attend events to augment the volunteer experience/retention • Worked closely with Senior Team to promote and market the service externally and ensure that the programme was delivered to plan against tight budgets. My current business focus is to scope and support the delivery of key regional strategic objectives across a geographical footprint to the highest standards, working closely with the Regional MD and his Senior Team as well as a number of key stakeholders. I also manage the regional income, costs and headcount, in terms of budget, current performance and forecasting. The financial analysis part of my role also includes managing and articulating KPIs and performance management by offices/team(s). I have a burning desire for results and have been very influential in maximising both sales and marketing opportunities in previous roles where the client is centric to my approach. I am IT proficient with a working knowledge of CRM.
