iBATIS is an open source database persistence tool that I have contributed towards. I became a PMC when iBATIS joined Apache Software Foundation in 2004. PMC members have binding votes on key decisions in the project. Key decisions include voting in of new committers and deciding the direction of the iBATIS project.

I started this company to service mid market clients who required web based marketing sites and/or business applications. I developed custom tools for content management, business to customer commerce, and intranet business applications. These tools were used across market segments such as real estate, manufacturing, medical, and non-profit organizations. I was responsible for all business administration, client interaction, application design, and development.

I was a Senior/Lead Developer at Watershed Communications. The focus at Watershed was on web based applications. These web based applications were both custom applications as well as two product develpoment efforts. My responsibilities included requirements gathering, application design, development, and management of technical resources.
