Primary software developer, acting database administrator, SSIS package development, database development (Microsoft SQL Server, IBM AS400 iDB2), Application Development (C#, ASP.NET), software engineering, Business Intelligence and IT/EDI Project Manager.

Maintained various proprietary systems related to the daily operations of a large scale group of Applebee's and Johnny Carino's restaurants located across the United States. Maintained and serviced VMware virtual machines, Microsoft Exchange environment, servers, SAN's, switches and network infrastructure. Maintained a group of nearly 100 cloud enabled Cisco Meraki cloud aware wireless access points. Worked with a brilliant team of Systems Analysts and IT Professionals to ensure that all helpdesk related issues were handled quickly and effectively, as well as to the end user's satisfaction.

Daily tasks include maintaining SQL servers, web servers, Active Directory and Exchange. Administer a vSphere data center cluster with multiple physical hosts and more than 25 virtual machines, utilizing high availability and disaster recovery, with failover and load balancing. Develop, deploy and administer new software/web applications for customers, as well as internal use, using a variety of programming languages and IDE’s. Coordinate with management and customers for application changes, edits and upgrades. Maintain internal tools for managing site structure, as well as internal network structure. Administer and maintain all networking, from cabling and structured wiring to DNS, Firewalls and internal/external network traffic. Plan and implement all hardware and software changes/upgrades as needs arise. Administer and maintain all backups (on-site and cloud), while ensuring that they remain incrementally up to date and consistent. Manage a helpdesk and respond to user created tickets in an orderly and effective manner. Head of technical purchases and have working relationships with many national vendors. In charge of disaster recovery, utilizing off site cloud based storage for seamless disaster recovery with vSphere snapshots, Dell/Appassure’s Replay software, and continuity clouds based in Atlanta GA.

Maintained SQL servers, MySQL servers, web servers, terminal servers and virtual machines in a vSphere cluster. Designed and implemented new software and web applications. Implemented and maintained a full server/thin client network for over 400 employees. Implemented new hardware, with user training and support. Maintained a helpdesk, and assisted end users via a ticketing system. Built and maintained networks, routers and VPN’s to facilitate internal and external connectivity. Administered Time America’s “Genesis” software for employee time tracking and payroll. Designed and implemented security (cctv) systems.
