About Bhavya Agrawal
Fractals have taught me the art of finding common strands between mathematics, computer science and imagination. Robotics has introduced me to the world of application and problem solving. Psychology has brought these 2 together by widening the scope of my mind, allowing me to uncover the common strands in the interaction between human and robotics, strands that has helped me research, create, and patent the ControLearn Sensory Development Bubble Tube.

- ControLight Assistive Technologies was created with the aim to enable differently abled children with sensory developmental disorders and provide them with advanced, technological resources to learn and excel despite their limitations. - For the first time ever, ControLight Asst. Tech. introduces ControLearn SDBT (Sensory Development Bubble Tube), a highly affordable and advanced version of a bubble tube (sensory device used in a snoezelen room, or a controlled multisensory environment), to aid sensory development of differently abled children. By simply watching bubbles rise in a tube and feeling the vibrations the air pump produces, children with developmental disorders can improve their visual and tactile senses, and also their attention and concentration capabilities. Furthermore, the integration of control features teaches and improves motor skills through switch use. - We have collected CSR funding for over 50 bubble tubes to make ControLearn SDBT available to mental health hospitals and institutes across Ahmedabad
Electrical Engineer
I contributed towards the development of an in-house version of the Sabertooth dual 25A motor driver at the ECE OpenLab. The motor driver is responsible for controlling our rover for the NASA’s Lunabotics Competition. Through this experience, I learned PCB Design in KiCad, specifically creating schematics, adding appropriate symbol values and footprints, keeping track of Manufacturer Part Number and unit cost, and drawing the layout of the PCB board. After many revisions of positioning the component and adding the tracks, we finalised a design incorporating multiple layers for optimal size and performance.

Water Level Sensor Integration With Smart Water Pump
During my internship at DyuLabs spanning June to July, I worked on Varun—a smart water pump controller. Key highlights of Varun are its impressive communication range, stretching up to 2.5 kilometers, optimal performance using simple AA cells, and eliminating the need for a SIM cardMy role was the seamless integration of a water level sensor with Varun. This involved programming low-power consumption and communication chips in C++, focusing on a modular approach. I established a secure communication link between the water level detection circuit, carefully placed within the water tank, and the central controller attached to the pump. This achievement led to the implementation of automated pump control based on real-time water level variations. The technology's has significant relevance in scenarios like dual water tank systems used by farmers. This configuration, with tanks at different elevations, leverages Varun's capabilities to automate pump activation and deactivation. By intelligently responding to changes in water levels, Varun effectively reduces water wastage, and addresses the challenges created by irregular water supply in small towns. This proves particularly beneficial for farmers who don’t need to do manual water monitoring, often at night hours. My internship at DyuLabs has been an invaluable experiences. They have not only enriched my technical proficiency but have also given me the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge to practical and social application.
High School Summer Immersion Program - Physics And Technologies Of Future
Avionics Department Head At Starlab Surat
After learning the physics of a rocket(fluid mechanics, fins, engines, etc), and creating simulations in softwares like fusion 360, I became the head of the avionics department of my team to design a Static test pad’s circuit and electronics during the 12th Virtual Training and Internship program at STAR. The 2nd and 3rd year Engineering students handled the performance analysis in simulations, while we used Proteus 8, Python and Arduino IDE to create the circuit, AutoDesk and EAGLE to design the PCB of the Avionics of our test pad, which measured the force and the temperature of a rocket. I introduced BLYNK to my teammates, for it allowed data to be received in real time wirelessly through wifi, which could then be used in python to get the readings.
