My mission at the Harvard School of Public Health is to educate and develop the next generation of leaders in global health and health care management. My goal is to implement rapid change in the world of health care - both domestically and globally - with a specific focus on the areas of public health and health care systems, and in the biotech, pharmaceutical and medical devices industries. As the demand for change accelerates, my focus is on the need for strategy implementation that produces breakthrough results quickly. As a management consultant for 20+ years, I have worked with global corporations, governments and NGOs in over 35 countries in a variety of fields: health care, technology, financial services and consumer goods. I believe that this focus on implementing change rapidly is critical to the future success of students, and I try to impart this pragmatic message to all students.
