While my chief expertise is in the Microsoft development stack with some Oracle experience. I am also extremely well versed in database and network administration. I am a classic jack-of-all-trades IT professional. In my professional career, I have not run into an issue that I have not eventually able so solve, and I am a constant innovator. There is always a new way to do things, and I am all for the new way, provided there is a strong case that the new way is better.I am usually the first one to take on the unknown. My current employer consistently assigns projects to me that we have no collective knowledge on as an organization and I am always able to research and deliver an effective solution.I maintain a Windows and Linux server farm at home to keep me up to date with the latest standards and practices. I use this as a testing ground for several of my personal and professional solutions. My main current projects include Amazon Glacier integration for backups and a set of Wifi N TCP-enabled electrical switches for home automation and energy saving projects. Of course I am writing an Android app with a middle tier application to manage these items, and logging to an Oracle XE cluster for pattern analysis.My biggest goal is to leave a positive footprint wherever I go. When I walk into a workplace as a consultant or employee, I will have greatly improved a process, foxed a major problem, taught someone a constructive skill, or all three before I walk out.
