In this position, I am responsible for setting broad underwriting standards, managing the organization’s reinsurance placements and acquiring corporate insurance coverage.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this role provides overall leadership of the corporate underwriting process for the portfolio of TruStage (formerly CUNA Mutual Group) products. This position provides direction to product management to control underwriting risk and works with other compliance departments to monitor and report on exposure and mitigation of all risks faced by the enterprise. Responsibilities include securing reinsurance and corporate insurance on behalf of TruStage and establishing corporate underwriting guidelines.
