Served as HSE subject matter expert to CPL, other Chevron, and partner companies. Led HSE efforts on numerous project leadership teams. Influenced all levels of project team, their management, and the company to achieve Incident Free Operations (IFO) as a reliable outcome on MCPs.• Developed and optimized multiple HSE project tools to enable IFO performance duplication by other HSE professionals inside CPL, contractor companies, and at other Chevron companies.• Effectively guided simultaneous design of HSE teams, creation of “fit for purpose” programs and procedures on up to 17 Major Capital Projects.• Recognized for leading HSE IFO culture on more than 53 MCPs since 2006.• Led HSE project contractor teams, supporting 400+ contractor companies and 1,200 workers in upstream, midstream, and downstream pipeline MCPS on and offshore.• Served as SME for Chevron Corporation (CVX) and partner companies in diving, radiation, explosives, OH, emergency management, incident command, hazard analysis/mitigation design, and domestic as well as international HSE engineering.• Created and implemented tools that saved 80% of IFO program costs on MCPs versus prior program. Chevron Project Resources Company (PRC) endorsed program as equal to, or better than, JMJ’s Incident Injury Free (IIF™) Program.• Devised unique exposure mitigation program for a Gulf of Mexico MCP during and immediately after BP Macondo incident; saved 4 months of standby time for 240 workers and 35 vessels.• Commended for cooperatively resolving multi-year, high financial regulatory liability case between CPL and several states at minimal mitigation cost and with no resulting fines or NOVs.
