Moving to a new payroll/HRIS platform can seem daunting, and for good reason. As a general statement, the industry is not always viewed in a good light, and I believe that is due to the service given during and after the process. At Simco, we care about our partners. We spend a lot of time listening to our clients so we can structure isolved to their needs, and in doing so making their company more efficient and streamlined. As the liason between the client and the team building the platform, I take a lot of pride in the relationships I build and continue to have with our clients. During our process, I will walk clients through expectations and train them on the software (which is definitely not limited to payroll). The many modules available can truly take work off of an administrators plate, while helping to make employees happier.Honor me with the opportunity to exceed your expectations!

Director Of Social MediaLoudee'S Jewelry Sep 2008 - PresentFairport, NyHelping grow my wife's jewelry business has been a fun balance to say the least! I want to see her succeed, but definitely do not want to make her so busy she is overwhelmed!Initially starting with email marketing and Facebook, we've been able to grow her constant audience year-over-year, which has been proven time and time again in her turnout at area shows and online purchases. While those will be an integral part of our strategy moving forward, adding Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter will really help place her presence in the nationwide--if not global--marketplace.Like her Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/LoudeesJewelry, and be on the lookout for our new handles soon!

Independent Gold-Level DistributorAdvocare Feb 2012 - Jan 2016Rochester, New York Area"You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want." -Zig ZiglarWe are in the midst of rapid growth, and I am looking for the right individuals that are ready to make a change in the world.Do you love helping people? Deep down in your heart are you an agent of positive change? Then you owe it to yourself to take a look at what we're doing. Are you paid what you're worth? Do you have debt looming over your head? Do financial burdens cause a strain on your relationships? Then you owe it to your family to take a look.Do you love what you do, or are you doing "what it takes to pay the bills?" Then again, you owe it to yourself to learn what this is.This may not be for you, but what if it is? Shouldn't you live a life you love?"I left a career I loved for a life I love." "I left a 15 year career and walked into my children's lives." Just two of the quotes that hit me like a dagger. It's amazing to me that in less than 2 years since discovering this incredible company I would be helping change so many people's lives! Yet Zig was right: in focusing on helping others achieve their goals--debt freedom, additional income, improved health and overall wellness--I've built a great residual-based income.Leading a volunteer army is unlike anything I've ever done, and is the most rewarding career I have experienced to date. This country is facing two epidemics, and we help in both areas: health and finances.I'd be honored to answer your questions, and will leave you with a quote from Steve Jobs:"...the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do." -
Account Executive - Bronze LevelEnterprise Fleet Management Jun 2011 - Sep 2013Central, Western, And Upstate NyI was blessed to have yet another opportunity to work with such a world-class company. Leadership from the local level all the way to the Executive team at corporate truly invest in your career and want to help you attain your goals. The Fleet Management Department allowed me some incredible experience in high-level B2B sales, and taught me many valuable lessons. Working with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Directors, Presidents, and business owners can be both fun and interesting while complex at the same time. My skills as a salesperson, mentor, leader, presenter, and peer were all honed in the time I spent with an awesome team. The many relationships I developed within Enterprise and within the Upstate NY business community will be near to my for life. The concept of the department is simple: let an industry leader use their economies of scale and infrastructure to reduce small- to medium-sized businesses' overhead and distractions. -
Coordinator/Lead FundraiserLymeaid For Melissa Jan 2012 - Aug 2012Naples, NyMy second venture into a large fundraising campaign, this was once again near and dear to my heart. My sister Melissa Simmons has been struggling with Lyme Disease for many years, and a series of events posed the potential to prevent her from continuing her treatment of this horrible disease.Using a golf tournament as the focal point, we were not only able to raise considerable money for her treatment, but we also helped raise awareness of Lyme disease in the area. While we are all praying for her to be cured, we have used these experiences and knowledge to help many others! As a matter of fact, I know of at least one child that was treated for Lyme disease early enough to kill it--when the initial reaction by the family was "it's not that important." Many tactics were used to create awareness: Social Media, Television News coverage, and pounding the pavement to name just a few. Through networking, I was able to gain incredible exposure through exclusive coverage on News 10 NBC here in Rochester to help raise awareness for both the disease and the event. Focusing on connections developed over many years, I was also able to secure corporate sponsorships from some of the best-known businesses, golf courses, wellness centers, restaurants, and establishments in the area. However, the tournament itself is only half the story...Also using my experience in Social Media, I was able to secure two amazing donations for our Silent Auction: An original signed copy of an autobiography by a NY Times Bestseller (Don Yaeger) as well as a $20,000 painting by "Graffiti Artist" Erik Wahl. The painting alone raised enough to cover 9 months of treatment for Melissa! The support of local businesses and philanthropists was equally amazing, and our team truly enjoyed getting out there knocking on doors for donations, give-aways, and ticket sales. An all-around amazing experience that has changed the course of Melissa's life forever.

Coordinator/Lead FundraiserCarin' 4 Karen Jan 2009 - May 2009Naples, NyThe motivation behind these events was simple...as my mother was losing her battle with Stage IV cancer, she confessed to me that her one regret was that she did not have a lasting impact on this world. While I was clearly biased, I knew she was wrong, and we joined together with many to prove it to her! Through the combined efforts of many in the Naples, Rochester, and surrounding communities, we organized two incredible events. With medical bills looming, we took this as an opportunity not just to show mom she was loved, but to raise funds for her treatment as well. We could not have given her the care and compassion she received those last days if it were not for the amazing generosity of so many talented artists, area restaurants, gifted teachers, and philanthropic people. Our first event featured the talents of Northside Johnny as they helped us raise an incredible amount of money during a wonderful concert at JB Quimby's. The "big event" was held on Mother's Day weekend, and this was where the community truly chose to shine! Live music, silent auctions, and hundreds of people came to show their love and support for this beautiful woman. Nearly 40 businesses helped support our cause, countless others donated their time and money, and we even had a beautiful piece written in the Daily Messenger. It was truly an honor to help send mom off knowing what an impact she had on this world. The amazing stories and letters we received during this time was a true blessing. If you'd like to read about mom, these incredible events, and even "get to know her" through some memories, I invite you to visit www.carin4karen.wordpress.com.Little did I know this was preparing me for yet another opportunity to put my organizational and fund-raising skills to the test, as you can read about in the "LymeAid for Melissa" section (coming soon.)
