I am a skilled and experienced creative writer in fiction, non-fiction, academic and technical styles. I have authored and published four novels all in different genres. This site also has links to all the books I have helped publish.I was born and raised in the United States Midwest and later lived in various cities on the West Coast and the deep South. I have six adult children and twelve grandchildren. My education includes undergraduate degrees in Liberal Arts majoring in English, Computer Science and Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. My professional focus has been working as an information technology consultant designing data-based business solutions and building descriptive and predictive analytic models for companies all over the world. My work has allowed me to travel broadly and spend significant time living and working in North and South America, Europe, Africa, India, Australia and Asia. I also hold a USCG Master Captain’s License with a Sailing Certificate, have worked captaining oil rig supply boats in the Gulf of Mexico, sailed extensively and have studied and practiced zen for over forty years.I am now semi-retired and live in the mountains of Central Thailand where I write, tend a small farm with my wife on which we grow tamarinds, mangoes, bananas, limes, tapioca, and pepper; and manage our rice fields in a nearby valley.
