Director Of Plans, Training, Mobilization And Security (Operations And Readiness)
CurrentServes as Director of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security (Operations and Readiness). Responsible for plans, training, mobilization, operations, and supervision of the various missions and operational sections of the Medical Center (MEDCEN). Serves as the Chief of Operations (CHOPS) during all Emergency Operations within CRDAMC. Serves as technical leader and provides guidance and assistance on new techniques and advanced theories and concepts. Directly supervises a staff of 15-20 military and civilian personnel. Assigns tasks and provides guidance to staff offices in response to urgent and routine requests for information and recommendations on issues of plans, operations, training, and security, current events strategy and plans, command and control, and training issues. Ensures that agency projects are managed properly and completed in a timely manner while monitoring continuity and quality of actions. Develops and executes guidance for the coordination of efforts for post and local community wide partnership as it relates to actions and events to ensure that all resources are utilized properly; there is no duplication of effort and that all of the agency's requirements are satisfied.Analyzes a variety of projected situations involved with mission support actions, personnel structure and organizational structures. Completes projects and studies, which require knowledge of the major issues, program goals and objectives, work processes, and administrative operations.Performs a wide range of managerial and supervisory tasks in planning, directing, and evaluating the facility with authority to make decision and commit to a course of action. Participates fully with the Hospital, III Corps and Fort Hood Commander, United States Army Garrison (USAG) commander and or CRDAMC commander representative in the management of the security, planning, training, and operations mission.
