Adept Engineering is an information technology staffing company. I have been contracted to work on a web application called Optimal Inventory Manager. This application helps energy companies that deal in petroleum products to manage their inventory, depots, clients, products, trucks, and vessels in an easy manner.My main role is to create new reports for all processes and activities, such as dispatches of products to and from depots and clients, as well as enhancements and maintenance of the reports.My work involves creating the forms for reporting parameters from the client side, processing the requests to the server side, writing SQL to retrieve the data, and presenting the reports for storage or downloading and printing. Using the Jasper Report API, the report output formats are done in PDF, XLS, HTML, and Word doc using RESTful web services.Worked remotely full time
