Corporate Head - Human Capital & Support FunctionsWakira Investments Nov 2016 - Jul 2021Dubai, AeLife itself is a risk and If we do not take risks in this life, when do we ever take ? In my Journey to explore enhancement of perception, I stumbled upon a few excellent human beings here @ Wakira and got excited to be with them in their endeavors of building a Food & Beverage Chain that didn't have a name when we first met. I took the mantle of heading their Human Capital just out of passion to conceive the Company and enhance lives of a few who I would bring in to this shared vision. My principle of " Love your work and not the Company" had its way through here and ever since I have taken the role, I am enjoying every bit of it and have handled anything that passed by me namely.. Finance, Banking, Human resources, IT, Licenses, New Projects, ERP, Quality Management, Marketing, Food trials, Strategy, including washing utensils in the Office Pantry as part of building the office!! A job that is not a Job is what I see this endeavor as and this has become a platform to realize that there is no "Thank GOD it is Friday" concept in mind as this is a way of life and in life, every moment is an enhancement of perception. Wakira is being built from ground Zero and nuances of business is in it and I live the moment here enhancing enhanced perception every second. Wakira recognized my talent, passion and flexibility and gave the business operations into my lap for me to lead and increase revenues in Oct 2017 and by Oct 2018, I had shown an increase in revenue of 32 % on top line while the industry was actually on a downward trend. Besides that, we also brought up the guest feedback rating in social platforms to a higher rate. I have been flexible and been a member of talent that Wakira could use and have been a source of advises for the CEO always in restructing the company structure, talent assessment and talent management. On an elevated role, I have been handling Quality Management Systems, ERP implementation, New Project management etc. besides HR. -
