During the summer of 2017 I got an opportunity to work as an intern at IISER(eminent institute in India) under a leading scientist Dr. Samrat Mulhopadhpay, where I worked on amyloid fibrils of a-synuclein (IDP) with the help of Foster Resonance Energy Transfer(FRET) and picosecond time-resolved fluorescence anisotropy measurements. During this period, I was also involved to various aspects of protein chemistry starting right from expressing and purifying proteins to their photophysical investigation using several spectroscopic techniques like steady-state fluorescence, Time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC), Circular Dichroism (CD), spectrophotometer etc.
