Going from the music instrument industry to the power generation industry was a major leap for me. The major component to the successful shift was building relationships and focusing on superior customer service for our technicians and customers. In between learning their individual preferences and who they were as people, I also learned to grasp our ERP, Great Plains with regular repetition of:- customer orders/returns- inventory transfers and stock verification- purchase order creation- quote processing, etc.I also grew to be well versed in the various Kohler systems, such as Resource Center and Parts portals. My willingness to learn and relentless positive attitude grew into my willingness to teach. Through my time as Parts Coordinator, I trained new hires and assisted in building onboarding processes for the department. I then was promoted to Training Specialist in September of 2017.

-Positioned as lead of National Accounts/E-Commerce Account Administrator. -Assisted outside sales team in guiding year over year growth in sales through maintaining detailed order entry, pricing reports, back order reporting, order follow up, and additional customer service for high level music industry retailers such as Amazon.com, Sweetwater Sound, Austin Bazaar, Musical Fulfillment, Bluestem Brands, and Kohls.com.-Worked closely with department team members ensuring accurate PO maintenance for Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, and Sam Ash. -Assisted outside sales team in building business relationships completing vendor on-boarding and product set ups through retailer online portals. -Worked cohesively with multiple departments (i.e. Logistics, Purchasing, Warehouse, Customer Service, etc) to ensure customer's needs were met.
