For nearly the last 10 years, I've worked within the Supply Chain Solutions for JLG Industries. I’m currently serving as a purchasing supervisor helping to support our planning team of over 20 individuals. I've helped manage the daily challenges of some of our most at-risk suppliers on our performance improvement team for over 4 years. I was awardees a problem solver of the month award for Oshkosh Corp. in April 2015 and earned 2 peer recognition awards for work related to a new product launch of Eco-friendly scissor and boom lifts. Prior to that, I spent nearly 12 years in the media business, starting as a sports reporter after my graduation from Penn State in 2001. I've also shifted roles into page design, copy editing, education reporting and breaking news reporting. I honed my social media and online publishing skills to provide pertinent information to readings immediately. I've developed several personal blogs to generate interest in both Penn State and education issues. I've also branched out into livestreaming events.
