Responsible for overseeing an Operations Group of 125-175 direct reports I aided in ensuring the operational performance of a major Government contract whilst ensuring continuous development of new and tenured Team Leaders. I worked closely with the Senior Operations Manager as professional development. As a member of the core Centre Leadership team, consisting of Senior Operations, Department Leads and Higher Management, I contributed to site wide decisions, policy updates and strategy roll-outs. An imperative part of my role was consistency in developing new strategies for KPI achievement and root problem identification. My role included implementing proactive strategies to improve and drive exceptional performance across the operational space and introducing new initiatives and processes to address long standing performance based issues.Secondarily I oversaw the consolidation space, this in turn involved its own complexities and difficulties which included overseeing client approved training and ensure governance and compliance of the operational space was met, in order to do this I liaised inter-departmentally with the Quality and Compliance Manager and the Workforce Management.

I entered employment for Probe as a Customer Solutions Specialist and quickly established myself as high performing in all KPI metrics. Developing my technical knowledge with systems, legislation and relevant policies and procedures I focused keenly on developing the team members around me whilst ensuring the highest level of customer service was provided to the clients I spoke with. I was recognised for my technical and developmental abilities early on and was promoted to the role of Subject Matter Expert. This role focused, with greater intensity, on the development of my co-workers technical ability to ensure that the customers needs were always met with a high level of diligence. This role also ensured that development in my coaching ability to amend mistakes and prevent future occurence.

A position of self employment gave me the opportunity to branch out and develop new a new skill set. My primary work was in sales tackling sales strategies such as face to face and direct business sales. During this time I contracted to sales companies providing high volumes of sales for numerous products and promotional campaigns. I strengthened previously built upon leadership abilities through training and leading several Independent Contractors to mirror sales volumes and skills I was displaying leading to the steady growth of a small business.

A change in direction and a more directed focus towards in developing my leadership abilities this position required more active Manager skills than my previous position. This position required quick and in the moment decision making with staffing and allocation as the retail sector requires more in depth product knowledge. This position gave myself more responsibility directly over the daily management of sales volumes, staff rostering and brand representation whilst teaching me the importance of strong commercial relationships with higher management and suppliers.
