From electronic circuit board design and embedded systems, to real time distributed automation at scale, to cloud based serverless business processing systems and many more in-between.I've been involved in startups and currently am involved as a co-founder of an IoT business that we are fostering.This has really taught me lean and the value of evolutionary design as we strive to become the most relevant we can with limited resources.I believe delivery is paramount and have been described in the past by some of my co-workers as "too delivery focused".While clients I have helped have come to me in retrospect and commented "I get it now".If we're not delivering value, what are we doing.THE TECHRecently I've been working with a variety of New Zealand and Australian companies preaching what we practice:- Agile Software Development including; pair programming- Test driven design- Evolutionary product development/architecture- Automated testing- Continuous integration, continuous delivery/DevOps Technologies we rely on heavily:- Typescript/NodeJS, .NET- Docker- AWS, Serverless , Kafka, KMS, Dynamo etc.- Terraform / Terragrunt / Localstack- Domain Driven Design- Azure, Functions, Cosmos, EventHub etc.
