Starting 2018, the Smart business line gave a strong focus on building new & innovative collaboration solutions, front-office minded.With approximately 30 consultants / developers, the team is busy building and implementing 4 kind of solutions :- SmartShare applications, running on IBM Domino, remains a major player, with +/- 100 active customers.Besides classical functional evolutions, we enabled the mobile part of the application, by delivering native Apple (iOS) and Android apps, in parallel with new responsive-design for Web access.- SmartSales is a new Cloud-based solution started in 2016. In 2022, we reached +/- 150 active customers, counting more than 2.200 effective end users.Designed to support the sales representatives on the road, it delivers documents access, catalog, ordering, surveying capability,... on mobile device (Apple iPads/iPhones & Android Phones/Tablets) as well as full web user experience for managing a team !- Rooftop is a new app enabling 'mail conversation as tasks' and 'mail hassle-free' concepts for shared inbox / ticketing usage with companies. Started in 2019, after 3 years we already attracted more than 60 customers totaling 600+ end users.- MS365 (Sharepoint, PowerApps, LogicApps, PowerBI...) also gains maturity within the team, with more and more integrations being made with our existing SmartShare & SmartSales solutions

In 2012, we decided to enter the 'mobile'​ arena. To do so, we launched our own internal new business line and acquired AppSolution.As a result, EASI had became able to offer native apps on iPhone / iPad (iOS), Android, and Windows Phone. We are able to build applications :- specifically for companies for their own internal use (B2B2E)- specifically for companies for their final customers (B2B2C)- for our own standard packages : CRM, Document Management, SmartMail, Financials (B2B)- SmartSales (http://smartsales.easi.net) was launched as a new presentation / order management system for sales on the road- we also launched InboxZero (http://inboxzero.easi.net), our first B2C app to revolutionize the way people work with mailsEnd 2014, the Application Development team had grown to 60 consultants, from which 12 persons working exclusively on mobile projects.This growth was also possible thanks to evolution in our others core business lines (Notes/Domino, WinDev, Power) and products (CRM, Document Management, Financials,..) : we have approx. 500 customers using our standard packages, in Belgium, France and Luxembourg.At the end 2017, the team reached 100 consultants / developers. The internal structure also evolved, with 5 Team Managers who took more and more responsibility in managing their own teams.We felt it was time for a change and a new organization. The 'Application Development' team was split into 2 major Business Lines : 'Adfinity' (back-office solutions parts) and 'Smart' (for all collaborative / mobile oriented solutions).And I took the 'Smart' part of it. Back to the roots :-)

Appligen Integration Director

In 2011, EASI acquired Appligen. As a well established IBM partner in Flanders (Belgium), Appligen had built its own accountancy package 'AAA'​ on Power (aka iSeries or AS/400) platform, using RPG & IBM Rational technologies. The company relied on 15 collaborators, from which approximatively 10 were to be integrated within the 'Application Development'​ department.As integration director, the focus was to help people work with each other within the group, generate synergies/opportunities, integrate existing customers into EASI's network and harmonize internal procedures.The integration was considered completely achieved end 2013, resulting in Application Development team having a new 'Power' business line and a new solution specialized for Power platforms.The global team had grown to a total of 45 persons.

Responsible of the Lotus Notes/Domino and WinDev/SQL consultancy team which grew to 30 consultants.The team worked partly on customer-specific projects and implementation of EASI BS package.Also responsible for R&D and product evolution of all EASI BS products, supported for customers in Belgium, Luxembourg and France :- BS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Notes v5 (approx. 60 customers)- BS HRM for Notes v5 (approx. 45 customers)- BS Document Management for Notes v5 (approx 55 customers)- BS Web Content Management (WCM) for Notes v4.5 (approx. 60 customers)- BS Financials : ERP Accounting / Supply Chain Management package v4 (approx. 150 customers)End 2011, with then team reaching more than 30 persons, Its structure was changed to enable future continuous evolution. A middle management was introduced, consisting of 4 Team Managers :- 2 took the lead on the SmartShare solutions part (CRM / HRM / DM / WCM). The products also continued evolving towards Mobile (Web edition), while WCM was launched in v5.- 2 took the lead on the Financials part : ERP Accounting / Supply Chain Management. During this period, we introduced a new major relase of BS Financials (v4)
