• Lead engineer designing and developing new components and features for Dialogic’s IP Media Server (IPMS) product line. Responsible for design, documentation, implementation, testing and maintaining product.• Designed and developed a new object-oriented data transport to revamp existing functionality in the product. Dramatically increased system scalability by reducing run-time memory footprint and reduced latency by introducing inline audio and video conversion functionality.• Designed and developed text and image overlay functionality to allow product to introduce the ability to insert information (like advertisements, menus, tickers) into the video streaming functionality of the product.• Integrated Positive Voice Detection (PVD) and Positive Answering Machine Detection (PAMD) algorithms from Host Media Processing (HMP) product platform into the IP Media Server product.• Co-Inventor on application for patent – “Reusable and Extensible Framework for Multimedia Application Development”.

• Software Project Lead responsible for project management within the engineering organization on the Host Media Processing (HMP) product line. Responsible for development teams on multiple projects for both Windows and Linux. Responsibilities included schedule estimation and management, conducting daily meetings to maintain focus for the team on completing deliverables and resolving critical defects through the Alpha and Beta development phases.• Domain expert on the entire software stack for the media bridging architecture for the HMP product that allowed the software-based media processing engine to interface with the hardware-based network interface boards (T1/E1, Primary ISDN) and DSP accelerator boards.• Responsible for architecture and implementation of the media bridging kernel components on Windows, as well as leading the engineering effort to migrate all media bridging functionality to the Linux platform.• Lead engineer for division-wide effort to normalize software diagnostics across all product platforms. • Lead engineer developing features and maintaining infrastructure software, including call control libraries and Windows device driver stacks. Key resource for evaluating device driver efforts for potential products such as high-density modem pools.• Helped mentor junior engineers in design, development and testing methodologies.• Received Intel Software Quality Award in 2005 for work on HMP product.

• Promoted to Windows Development Manager after demonstrating the necessary leadership and organization skills through my first three years with the organization. Responsible for all of the Windows development of a team of 5 engineers across all of Ariel’s existing product lines.• Lead Engineer involved in developing the architecture of Ariel’s latest RS4000 family of Remote Access products.

• Lead Engineer responsible for design and development of all Windows-based software related to Ariel’s RS2000 family of Remote Access products. Included device drivers (NDISWAN), interface libraries, management utilities and installation software. Attended trade shows to promote technology and performed on-site deployment support for key customers.• Lead Engineer responsible for development of Windows NT driver stack for DC5 product (high-density low-speed modem pool used in applications like credit card verification).
