Jim directed various departments throughout his career from operations to risk management and was responsible for organizing the union, successfully negotiating five labor contracts, both as President of the union and Chairman of the Labor Management Committee. Additionally, Jim was responsible for all new location development and senior level oversight during project development, management and construction. This included all new fire stations, and EMS (medical) facilities, totaling 262 sites.
