Brownstone Financial is a privately held holding company with several subsidiaries and Investment interests. It's primary focus is in financial advisory services and management consulting. The firm was organized in 1993 to assist clients in developing and implementing successful financial plans and strategies for current and future business operations. Bob's responsibilities at Brownstone have included the management of day-to-day operating policies and practices, client and business development activities and the management of special client engagements.

ARC is a financial services company formed in Ohio in 2010 to help in the resolution of the "toxic assets" problem in the U.S. That problem existed then and continues today. After a period of hiatus the firm was relaunched in 2017 as a newly incorporated firm in Pennsylvania. Bob's responsibilities as Chairman and SVP Marketing among many things, are to direct the company's activities as it develops relationships with clients and strategic partners. He is also responsible for assisting other senior managers in the development of daily operating policies, practices and procedures.

Bob is the founder and developer of the academy's philosophy, vision and outlook. He established the Academy to help "urban youth in the age range corresponding to the 6th to 12th grades to acquire, develop and nurture those skills needed to become successful members of today's and tomorrow's workforce. He is in the process of organizing an active, operational advisory board of educators, business persons, social scientists, academic scholars and community activists to assist in the implementation and operation of the program modules developed by the firm.

Bob is an adjunct professor in the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University teaching courses in finance, real estate finance and real estate development and subjects in the schools general business program. He is also a mentor in the Laurence A. Baiada Institute of Entrepreneurship formerly in LeBow but now a part of the Charles A. Close School of Entrepreneurship at Drexel. Bob has mentored collectively and individually many successful student entrepreneurs at Drexel through his classroom activities and personal one-to-one efforts.

Created, implemented and managed a new mortgage finance function for the firm headquartered in its NYC office.

As a Vice President at PaineWebber Inc. and President of Mortgage Finance at the PaineWebber Real Estate Securities Group, Bob conceived, developed and implemented the firm's Mortgage Participation Program, one of the company's most profitable businesses for a number of years. The development included finding and marshaling the internal and external resources and funding platforms to support the programs efforts. The business generated billions of dollars in revenues and millions in profits in a short period of time. The strategic platform is still widely used in the mortgage securities industry in varied formats today.

As Vice President, Bob managed a team of relationship management professionals; developed a loan portfolio exceeding $940 million; acquired deposits of nearly $100 million; and generate profit center earnings of $ 9.6 million during his last eighteen month assignment in the Mortgage Banking Department of the Real Estate Industries Division. His marketing territory included all of the western states.

Founded, organized developed and implemented the internal audit function for this manufacturer of circuit breakers, boards and other electrical circuitry equipment. ITE is now a subsidiary of Gould Inc.

Bob was a member of the firm's Treasury Department in the Internal Audit Division. HIs duties included the financial and operational audit of various departments of the company and operations in the northeast region of the companies NorthAmerican petroleum, refining and shipping operations. His work involved travel to various locations throughout the Philadelphia region and elsewhere. He managed a project to rewrite and update the firm's internal audit manual including its policies, practices and procedures for conducting and reporting the results and recommendations of the various audit teams once they completed their work.The revisions required the inputs from senior officers of the firm. The revised manual was reviewed and approved by the Treasurer of the corporation.
