I provide data modeling solutions to analysts at buy-side hedge and mutual funds as well as sell-side banks and brokerage firms.Harrell Associates, LLC, takes the guesswork out of airline P&L data modeling and yield forecasting. We provide benchmarking tools and custom consulting that includes current and comparable year-over-year data. Our data covers the top 3 airlines, over 80 of their top routes, and 300 origin/destination points. Standard reports include fares and yields for normal/discount business, leisure, and combined/mixed weighted business/leisure. Our custom reports can include any airline, route, point of sale, or fare type.

I started the airfare management unit as a new business unit focused on special corporate pricing. I also managed airline supplier relations before starting my own company.

I started my career as a financial analyst in airline planning and rose through a series of positions across multiple divisions with increasing roles of responsibility. At Pricing and Planning, I managed a charter organization fleet of 13 airplanes. As part of North American Ground Operations, as Divisional Controller, North America, I led the financial and personnel planning for a business unit with 15,000 employees. From there, I moved to international roles, including serving as Marketing and Sales Director for the Atlantic Division, spanning London to India and Scandinavia to South Africa. I returned to New York to work on the merger with National Airlines. I then became the System Director of the International Finance unit with primary responsibility for managing the 150 currencies involved with our ticket sales. I had a focus on volatile currencies that were subject to devaluation, in-convertibility, and fraud to help the airline obtain revenue from locations where money could not be converted. In this role, I was also elected to the position of Chairman of the IATA Currency Sub-Committee for a 2 year term.
