I act as a career consultant to both the Individuals I serve and the business community. I assist job seekers to determine his or her job goals, preparing them for a job search, securing a job, and providing appropriate support on-the-job after the they are hired. I also work with employers to determine their hiring needs, facilitates communication between the job seeker and the employer after the jobseeker has been hired, develop and use a "retention plan" to help the jobseeker be successful in meeting his/her job expectations, and work with the employer to develop natural supports in the workplace.
