Mr. McBride retired in 2015 with over 40 years diversified experience in the U.S. and five European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, and Switzerland) in business, education, diplomacy, politico-military affairs, international military operations, intelligence, counterintelligence, armaments cooperation and security assistance. He has a Master’s degree in Linguistics, speaks French and German, and was a member of the faculty at the United States Military Academy’s Department of Foreign Languages. Mr. McBride was also a division chief on the Army Staff, Headquarters Department of the Army. As a Foreign Area Officer and promoted to Colonel, he returned to Europe and spent his final seven years on active duty in Switzerland and Germany. After active duty retirement, as a certified TRADOC Senior Instructor, he was a Company Leader for two teams of instructors in the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent Course and the HUMINT Collector Course. His final assignment was as a member of the PEO STRI SETA team, serving as a training analyst in the New Systems Training and Integration Directorate, U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence. He was responsible for oversight and coordination of the new intelligence systems training presented to the maneuver brigades in the Army’s Sustainable Readiness Model (SRM) cycle (formerly ARFORGEN) as they prepared for their window of availability.
