Bob Terry is a professional drummer, educator, clinician, author, and marketing executive in the music industry in a career spanning nearly 40 years. He has credits as a touring and recording drummer for many internationally known artists, and as many credits as a marketing executive and consultant for some of the top music manufacturers and professional drummers in the world.Bob has worked for the Yamaha Corporation of America and Japan, KHS America and Taiwan, and Line 6 to name a few. He has held the positions of marketing director and manager of artist relations. He works closely with the top drummers in the world on personal management, electronic drumming, career development, and public relations. In 2010 Bob authored a book entitled The Beginner’s Guide to Electronic Drums; published and distributed by the Hal Leonard Corporation. Additionally, Bob holds a position as a staff member within the drum program at Musicians Institute, College of Contemporary Music in Hollywood, California. He mentors students in career development, lessons, and electronic drumming.Most recently Bob has become involved with JAMS (Jasmine’s Alternative Music School) in Santa Barbara, California. JAMS is a non-profit music school that through music and mentoring, provides a path to self-improvement and transform the lives of the underserved members of the community. The school has been supported by such notables as Kenny Loggins, Peter Frampton, Jack Johnson, Ginger Baker, Jonathon Winters and more.
