I chose to become involved in labor representation because it is the right and moral obsession to have. Being a Business Representative for the best Union meets this criteria very well. My purpose is to be in position to assist in raising wages and benefits of working men and women in order for them to share in the bounty of their productivity. I fully support raising the minimum wage to a living wage such that workers won't have to rely upon welfare, increasing the earning potential of skilled and unskilled workers, and assist workers in sharing power with management in the workplace. I support partnerships between labor and management when possible for the overall good of society and the workplace.
