Rally Point equips leaders like you to guide others towards healing with simple programs that are easy to start and designed to grow as a part of your existing ministry.

If you work in ministry - you know there are students all around you who are dealing with problems like pain, addiction, anxiety, and abuse. Solutions are complicated - and often, hurting students are pushed to the sidelines. One of the biggest challenges leaders face is finding a way to help those students get long-term healing. I know what it’s like to be a leader who wants to help, but doesn’t have the right tools or training. Regroup is a program designed for leaders like you - who want to help hurting students find healing.

In addition to duties as the Hub Director, oversees high school ministryResponsible for recruiting, equipping and coordinating seven teams of volunteers that run seven HouseGroup environments ministering to an average of over 200 students each week. Each team is composed of a Point Leader who reports directly, a House Host, and four to eight adult small group leaders in each house. Coordinates team collaboration and production of weekly announcement videosPartners with high school team to produce weekly teaching videosEquips parents to understand and communicate with teenagers as they grow upProduces creative environments for all middle school and high school outreach events that have had wildly popular themes over the years such as “escape room,” “mad scientist,” and “bubbles”Creates week-long interactive curriculum for middle and high school camp including daily teachings, journals, team-building games, and small group questions

Built and runs experience-based character building programs for 13 local middle and high schools (including 8 in U-46). Over 2,500 students participate in this program each year. Recruits over 250 volunteers each year from the community, the church, and the schools and trains them to lead small groups during this program.Created and runs a supportive circle time for the entire staff at the Dream Academy and ROE programs, building the curriculum using research into secondary trauma experienced by care-takersWrote and leads pain and addictions program for hurting and at-risk high school students year-round. Over the past 4 years, dozens of kids have found healing through the support of this program.Established a leadership track for high school students, teaching them to mentor younger students and give back to the communityGenerated partnerships between schools, PTOs, police departments, large and small non-profit and for-profit companies, and faith communities that have resulted in mentoring relationships for thousands of kids, job-skills training for students with disabilities, and multiple fundraisers benefiting low-income kids in U-46.

Created a cultural competency workshop focused on educational support for foster kids and foster parents. Received rave reviews from attendees.Researched and recruited clergy from a diversity of backgrounds to be members of the Inter-Faith Advisory CouncilResearched and compiled a resource list of counselors and psychiatrists in the eleven zip codes of U-46Assisted school social worker in creation of PBIS programming, co-lead problem solving and anger management groups, and mentored male students one-on-one in the district's alternative school Gifford Street High School/The Dream Academy

1st year 400+ hour Social Work internship with the University of Chicago at Northwest Compass, an emergency services provider, as a case manager in the food connection program, job coaching program, and Compass Point intake program.Digitized paper forms into an online system and instituted an interactive “flowchart form finder,” helping modernize all programsCompiled a resource list of all counseling services, housing services food pantries, senior care centers, and emergency services within Northwest Compass’ service network
