Designed, and directed the in situ refactoring of a legacy LAMP stack application serving core business functionality. Established implementation at enterprise scale via secure web infrastructure, and serving multi-tenancy currently supporting two laboratory operations.Introduced a design philosophy of normalized relational data warehouses wrapped in APIs as our common storage method. Data acquisition and analysis is our primary business domain, and this has allowed the company to focus on problem solving via small highly flexible and reusable service layers keeping our applications lightweight and purpose-focused. From the smallest script, to our largest application, every piece is an object with interfaces and negotiable APIs.Implemented customized Development Operations (DevOps) pipelines utilizing container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, and private code repositories with hooks and build scripts, enabling CD/CI delivery of application fixes and upgrades to key operation apps.Implemented documentation philosophies based on Agile project management practices, and a focus on capturing key information in readily accessible locations. Converted all existing SOPs, checklists, and logs into a cloud-hosted wiki, achieved high staff engagement in the continued maintenance of documentation.

As the Technical Liaison, I provided system and content-based education, analysis, reporting, and hospital revenue cycle billing expertise to support all facility PFS roles and facility departments as necessary for expedient and compliant claim submission and resolution. I analyzed training needs, identified and made specific recommendations for system vs. user issues related to overall optimization of the hospital revenue cycle, and developed specific hospital billing curricula that included mapping classes to individual role and the creation of content- and system-based Resolute HB modules and the associated training environments. I also assisted with defining reporting elements and requirements to assist with the analysis of billing trends, productivity, and performance. I was directly involved in daily operations from both an analytical and a technical perspective, and is the primary technical resource to IS department staff for ongoing changes to the production environment in the Resolute HB application, and to outside vendors for education requirements related to facility claim submission.
