On top of designing and continually updating the official website – www.tsgstaffing.ca - I worked closely with the recruiters to help find qualified candidates for various employment opportunities in the EPC/M (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) industry across Western Canada. While looking for candidates that have the right qualifications to fill the current needs, I searched through the applicants, then proceeded to sort and file them under the appropriate category.Over the years there, my role in the company started expanding. On top of taking over more internet based duties, such as online advertising, I found myself in more of an IT role as well. I would take care of every day computer problems as well as getting new computers ready for use. Whenever a new pamphlet or promotional item was needed, I would use Adobe Photoshop to design the needed item. Furthermore, after seeing a need for a more straight forward way to record and maintain requirements and proposals, I began developing a new database with Access 2007. This database was immediately implemented and helped streamline the process, saving myself and the administration staff value time and also offered the recruitment staff a place to get much more detailed reports and statistics. In 2009, I was hired to test out a new recruitment software solutions system to ensure that it would fit our work process. This involved constant communication with their office in Virginia, quality control tests, numerous modifications, planning and scheduling, various presentations and more.
