I'm Bob Dijkman. Security systems professional, fanatic waterpolo player and curious about the world. Please read more about me below:Security systems professional I have been working in the security industry since 2007. I focus on security installations such as access control systems, camera surveillance systems, burglar alarm systems and locker management systems. First at BigBrother BV in Ede (The Netherlands) and since 2016 at Nedap Security Management in Groenlo (The Netherlands).The security industry offers me the right combination of technology, innovation and commerce. I prefer to work at the interface between commerce (sales) and technology (development).WaterpoloSince I was 12 I have been a fanatic waterpolo keeper. At the age of 17 I moved to the Polar Bears waterpolo club in Ede. At Polar Bears I played in the first team in the Dutch premier league for nine years. During that time I have celebrated great successes with my team, including 3x Dutch champion and 2x Cup champion. In the meantime, waterpolo is no longer the biggest driver in my life. But I still enjoy playing competition.Curious about the worldTogether with my girlfriend I liked to travel the world. We have had some experiences during our travels, some highlights are the mountain gorillas in Uganda, the fireworks in Sydney Harbor and Chichén Itzá in Mexico. After the birth of our kids travelling is a bit less.
