I was specifically hired as an associate to serve out of the Office of the President, assigned to EAB's most at-risk client relationships. In this role, it was my job to ensure that colleagues had the opportunity to renew an institution's research membership, through expert management of high-level contact interaction.

As a Senior Interviewer within the Office of Admissions, my primary responsibilities were to conduct interviews for prospective students, serve as a resource for high school students and parents during the college application process, analyze the compatibility of the interviewee and Claremont McKenna College, and write and submit interview reports for inclusion in admission files.

I served as one of the four co-directors of the Women's Forum. We authored our organization's constitution, found staff and faculty members to support our mission, and applied for funding from various sources on campus. As an organization, our goals were: mentoring, community-building, and networking. We organized a variety of events, primarily catering to students who identify, or have identified, as women, and hoped to generate an engaged, informed, and passionate student body.

During the academic year, I served as a technology assistant in the Claremont McKenna computer labs. I was responsible for providing both basic and more intensive application support for students working on school assignments.

As the marketing lead and brand ambassador for Greenhouse Scholars' largest annual fundraiser, Venus de Miles (an all-women's bike ride), I was responsible for developing a strategic field marketing campaign, managing a modest budget, and planning an effective schedule in accordance with the campaign execution.

I founded this small business when I was a freshman in high school, as a means to share the passion I have for swimming. Each summer, I create individualized lesson plans for ten to fifteen children, and monitor and analyze their progress. Working closely with parents at the beginning of sessions, we set long-term goals for each child. I compose lesson plans to best suit different learning styles, and help swimmers improve over time.

As an intern, I helped Greenhouse Scholars (an education non-profit) provide comprehensive personal and financial support to high-performing, under-resourced high school students on their way to, and through, their college careers. Several of my key responsibilities involved: public relations and communications, grant writing, program organization and efficacy, volunteer management and annual accountability analyses for Greenhouse' key supporters.

As a member of the Kravis Leadership Institute's Special Programs, our team worked to foster notable development and personal leadership skills throughout the Claremont McKenna College community. In this capacity, I was motivated to increase the efficacy of programs, such as the Sophomore Leadership Experience and the Leadership Studies Sequence.

I worked as an intern for The Nature Conservancy, focusing on environmental analysis and research on the preserve locations that TNC owns throughout Colorado. I centralized information on the preserves and performed various literature reviews. Additionally, I had the opportunity to examine official documents (deeds, leases, etc.), and learn more about the legal processes involved in a non-profit.

As an intern for the Colorado Natural Heritage Program, I had the opportunity to perform field research on specific plants and animals to effectively determine the endangerment rate of these rare species. In addition, I constructed reports on every natural heritage program in the U.S. to further the opportunities for organizational growth and progress among the network of university programs.
